Company details SB Sports Injury & Physiotherapy Clinic is a private MSK clinic in Shifnal, Shropshire. We are a 3 bed treatment facility offering weekday and evening appointments. Role Description Come and join our small friendly team of 3 Physios, a sports massage therapist and 2 receptionists in the village of Shifnal in beautiful Shropshire. With fantastic transport links, being close to Telford centre, M54 motorway and local train station only a 5 minute walk away. As a well established independent sports injury & physiotherapy private practice we have an excellent reputation treating both repeat patients as well as a substantial number of new patients per week attending from the local village, but also local areas such as Telford, Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton and surrounding counties as well as reaching patients as far as mid Wales. With excellent rates of pay and a range of working hours/days available this exciting band 6/7 post will require a minimum of 4 years MSK experience treating all manner of MSK conditions, You will be expected to manage independently your own MSK caseload as well as be a valued member of the team. Sports injury experience and AACP registration is desirable but not essential. In this self employed role you will be expected to be a hands on clinician utilising manual therapy, electrotherapy and exercise therapy skills to help make a genuine impact and difference to our patients quality of life. Having a strong word of mouth reputation, links with local GP’s as well as Consultants and local sports clubs you will treat self referring patients but no medico-legal referrals. We have availability for 10-15 hours per week Monday to Friday with potentially some evenings with flexibility for the hours to be covered by more than one physio if necessary. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physiotherapy or a relevant field Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Proven experience in treating patients with musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries experience preferable Experience in manual therapy, medical exercise therapy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals and patients from diverse backgrounds Ability to work independently, manage patient caseload, and maintain accurate patient records A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning to stay current in the field
