JOB DESCRIPTION Salary: Marie Curie Pay Scale, aligned with AFC Band 6 (£35,392 to £42,618) per annum pro rata enhancements Hours/Contract: Part Time, 18.75 hours per week – Permanent (3 days over 5) Based: Bradford Hospice Closing date: 11th September 2024 Interview date: TBC Our team consists of nurses, Physiotherapists and doctors working in partnership with other services to prevent the unnecessary admission to hospital of patients with unmet or rapidly escalating palliative care needs. Patients will be identified in the Emergency Department of Bradford Royal Infirmary or by colleagues working in the community as having unmet symptoms control/end of life care needs that can be safely and effectively managed at home with additional short-term urgent support and intervention from our REACT community team. The Marie Curie REACT service aims to prevent unnecessary admission to hospital and reduce inequalities in access to End-of-Life services across Bradford.
