We are looking for an occupational therapist for our Rehab and Recovery ward at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. Base: Royal Shrewsbury Hospital – Rehab and Recovery Ward 18 Working hours/days: Monday-Friday 37.5 hour (may include some weekends/bank holidays) Band 6 Occupational therapist skills including the below: Occupational Therapist A registered Occupational therapist is required to assess and treat patients requiring ward-based rehabilitation and assessment for discharge planning. Experience of working independently and at pace is required to ensure proactive discharge planning and robust and effective treatment plans are in place. The person will be part of a therapy team including a rehab technician and a physiotherapist. Experience of community-based pathways would also be desirable to ensure length of stay is optimal
