The Centre for Health & Disability Assessments invites you to join our dynamic service, delivering evidence-based functional movement for complex patient cases. This is your chance to hone your clinical assessment skills in a supportive environment. As a Hybrid Physio, you will triage patients and provide detailed case reports for the DWP, working within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) of Allied Health Professionals (AHPs). File-work involves reviewing medical evidence in written or electronic format to determine the necessity of a face-to-face assessment. Assessments focus on how disabilities impact customers’ daily work-related activities. Utilize IT software programs to support clinical decision-making during file-work and examinations. Provide comprehensive reports to enable DWP Decision Makers to make informed benefit claim decisions. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years’ acute clinical experience HCPC Registration Broad-based clinical experience in an acute setting including neuro experience (prefferable) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A positive, empathetic, and professional manner Strong computer and IT skills Right to work in the UK Ability to work autonomously and as part of a targeted team Adaptability and flexibility under pressure For more information, please contact Allison at (phone number removed) or email (url removed)
