West Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership Physiotherapy Service ST JOHN’S HOSPITAL AT HOWDEN Band 6 (static) Highly Specialist Physiotherapist Stroke Rehabilitation/ General Rehabilitation Maternity leave Cover (Up to 1 year) Full-time (37 hours) We are looking for a highly motivated, HPC Registered Physiotherapist with proven experience and skills within Stroke and general complex rehabilitation services and rehabilitation to join our team here at St Johns Hospital. The post may cover any of the following areas rehabilitation wards: Stroke Unit and Community. This post also carries respiratory on-call and weekend working commitments. Support and training will be offered to support this temporary post and would suit a band 5 looking to expand their experience and develop specialist skills. As well as a clinical caseload, the postholder will have staff supervisory responsibility and will deputise for the Team Lead Physiotherapist. Telephone: 01506 522055. NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
