OUR VALUES IN ACTION Care and Compassion Quality and Teamwork Dignity and Respect Openness, honesty and responsibility Physiotherapy Services Specialist Physio therapist Major Trauma Band 6, 37 hours post Permanent We require an experienced, highly motivated and innovative Physiotherapist to join our team in NHS Borders. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as good organisation, time management, problem-solving and prioritisation skills. Previous orthopaedic and care of the elderly experience is essential. Working within multidisciplinary teams in the acute setting, you will be responsible for triage, prioritisation and management of a complex caseload. You will provide assessment and intervention to patients across a variety of settings, including acute medical and orthopaedic wards and the community setting. You will be part of a weekend working rota. The successful candidate will provide education and advice to patients, their families and other health care and multi agency professionals. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period, for which you would be paid, until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
