PhysioCare & Sports Injury, the leading provider of private Physiotherapy in the Isle of Wight, is looking for a Chartered Physiotherapist who has a friendly, confident and open approach to their practice to join their team of four practitioners and Practice Manager. Located in Ryde (Isle of Wight) the Practice is an easy commute from Portsmouth/ Southsea and walking distance from the Hovercraft/FastCat ferry terminals.

· CPD budget of £500 per annum to attend external courses to help support with your on -going professional development.

· 6 monthly formal reviews.
· A flexible working pattern which will be pro-rata to the salary offered at interview stage.
Candidate Specification:
· Must have a right to work in the UK
· Appropriate indemnity and public liability insurance
· BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy (or Grad Dip Phys) with CSP and HCPC registration
· Minimum 2 years’ experience, with minimum 1 year experience in a specialist area including respiratory, neurological or musculoskeletal.
· Experience in the delivery of effective rehabilitation programmes and manual therapy treatments.
· Experience of electrotherapy and Shockwave therapy are desirable, however training can be provided.
· Acupuncture qualification is desirable.
· Is effective in taking basic outcome measures on a consistent basis to effectively monitor and communicate a client’s progress through their rehabilitation.
· Experience of working within the community and willingness to participate in these duties would be highly desirable.
· Demonstratable experience of being able to engage patients in Physiotherapy and helping patient’s achieve personalised goals.
· An effective team player with good communications skills are essential for the role.
· As the role may involve working with both vulnerable adults and children the successful applicant will undergo an advanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and appropriate identification checks.
